A male sex supplement may have an unpleasant side effect - death.
The Food and Drug Administration is urging men to stop taking X-Rock, aproduct marketed for “sexual enhancement.”
The supplement contains ingredients including sildenafil, a chief chemical component of the prescription erectile drug Viagra and hydroxythiohomosildenafil, which has similiarities to sildenafil.
None of these ingredients were listed on the package, whichis labeled “all natural.”
These ingredients could cause a severe reaction in men taking heart medications, such as nitroglycerin and may lower blood pressure to dangerous levels.
